The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the customary stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually happening.
